摘要:As a basic thermodynamic parameter, pressure can effectively shorten the intermolecular distance, change the electronic orbitals and bonds, and then regulate the structure properties of materials. To the state-of-the art, the development of single crystal X-ray diffraction experiments at synchrochon facilities and data analysis under extreme conditions have effectively helped the structural characterization of the new materials synthesized in DAC. This report will introduce the workflow and experimental details of single crystal X-ray diffraction under extreme conditions, and the followed with data analysis and structure determination. The research in last two years on crystal chemistry of carbonates will also be included.

报告人简介:Yu Wang is a postdoctoral researcher at Goethe University. She received her B.S. in Physics from Jilin University in 2013 and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2019. In 2019, she joined the Institute of Solid-State Physics, Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as an assistant researcher. In 2022, she was appointed as an associate researcher, and joined Goethe University at the beginning of 2023. She is mainly engaged in the synthesis, structure and physical characterization of new materials under high temperature and high-pressure conditions. The research mainly includes H2O, H2O+H2, polynitrides, and carbonates. At present, she has published her research on journals such as Nature Chemistry, Nature Communication, PRL etc. as first/corresponding author.
