摘要:The Kagome lattice, with its symmetry-protected flat bands, Dirac points, and van Hove singularities, has recently become a prominent focus in condensed matter physics, revealing a wide array of phenomena, including magnetism, non-trivial topology, charge-density waves, and superconductivity. To date, all reported Kagome materials reside in the weak or non-correlated regime, as their flat bands either lie far from the Fermi level or are disrupted by structural distortions.

In this talk, I will report the first realization of Kondo lattice physics in a new kind of van der Waals-like Kagome material CsCr6Sb6, which features rare isolated Fermi-level flat bands, accompanied by a series of strongly-correlated phenomena: (1) Heavy fermion behavior with ultra-low carrier density; (2) Anomalous dimensionality-induced magnetism; (3) Kondo breakdown, strange metal, and bad metal behavior. The talk will conclude with recent, unpublished discoveries that further illuminate this unique correlated system.
